BENGALURU: Karnataka would seek more funds from the Centre to speed up relief and rehabilitation works in dozen of districts across the state that were ravaged by heavy monsoon rains and flash floods due to release of excess water from dams on major rivers, an official said on Sunday. "Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa will seek more funds from the Centre during his official visit to Delhi after Diwali. A revised assessment of the damage caused by floods to agriculture and infrastructure in the state will be presented to Union Home Minster Amit Shah for more funds from the National Disaster Response Fund (NDRF)," a revenue official told IANS here.
