

Mumbai: A 35-year-old Muslim community religious leader hailing from Afghanistan, was shot dead by a group of four unidentified persons in Yola town of Maharashtra's Nashik district, on Tuesday.
As per reports, the incident took place on Tuesday evening in the MIDC area of Yeola town, around 200km from Mumbai.
The victim, identified as Khwaja Sayyad Chisti, was popularly known as 'Sufi Baba' in Yeola. However, the reason for the murder is yet to be ascertained.
According to an official, he died on the spot after he was shot in the forehead by attackers.
After killing him, the attackers fled away from the spot in a seized SUV which was used by Sufi Baba.
The police have registered a case of murder and have launched a manhunt to nab the culprits.
