New Delhi: In a bizarre incident, a fan of comedian Raju Srivastava who is fighting for his life in the ICU, barged into his ward and tried to click pictures with him.

As per reports, he managed to enter the ICU and started clicking selfies with Srivastava. However, he was immediately dragged out of the ward and was questioned by the authorities.

Reports also claimed that he entered the ICU wearing a coat, pretending to be a doctor.

Following the development, Srivastava's family also raised concerns about the security in the hospital, post which guards were deployed outside the ICU.

Meanwhile, no one is being allowed inside the ICU without due permission.

Presently, the comedian is recovering as per his brother Deepu Srivastava who updated the fans about Srivastava's health.

Expressing gratitude to the fans for their prayers for the well-being of the comedian's health, in a video message, Deepu Srivastava said that though Raju is still in hospital he is sure that the blessings of his fans are being heard.

''Brother is receiving the best possible health care facility,'' he added.

Emphasizing that Raju Srivastava is recovering under the care of the best team of medical professionals at the hospital. Refuting farcical rumours about Raju's health, Deepu Srivastava urged people to not pay attention to them and requested the fans to continue to shower his brother with wishes for his well-being.

At a time when people across the country are praying for the swift recovery of the actor, his brother Deepu Srivastava called Raju a fighter.

"Please do not believe the rumours. Your favourite Raju Ji is in the ICU in Delhi at one of the best hospitals in the country. The best doctors are treating him. He is also recovering. Raju Bhai is a fighter and he will soon be back with his 'Comedy Ki Dukaan'. So, don't worry. Doctors are giving their best. Just pray for his speedy recovery," he said.
