Minor Girl Raped By Watchman In Govt-Run School In Bhopal, Accused Arrested

Bhopal: In a horrendous incident, a man in Bhopal's Khoefiza was apprehended after he allegedly raped an eight-and-a-half-year-old girl inside the toilet of a government school.

The arrested person, who has been identified as Lakshminarayan Dhanak, is a watchman of the government school where this gruesome crime took place and he was arrested after the minor girl described his appearance.

The police said that the alleged rape incident occured inside the premises of the school and added that the accused who is employed there was nabbed based on the description given by the victim.

Notably, the victim happens to be a class IV student, who was admitted to the school just a few days back.

The horrific incident unfolded when the watchman had allegedly taken her forcefully to the bathroom against her will and committed the heinous crime.

The others students saw the minor girl crying, following which, they immediately informed the teachers.

When asked about the reason behind her tears, the girl told that an "uncle" wearing yellow had taken her to the bathroom.

Thereafter, the school staff immediately summoned the police to look into the matter. Upon investigating the incident, it was found that the accused was the only person wearing yellow.

He was immediately detained and he later confessed the crime he committed after being interrogated by the police.
