Nationalized Banks of India sets New Withdrawal Limits for its Users

All nationalized banks in India have come up with new cash withdrawal limits lately. Although the cash withdrawal limits vary based on the banks, one thing is certain that the customers will not be able to withdraw the same amount that they withdrew yesterday. Moreover, the cash withdrawal limit will vary based on some other factors of the customers as well which are like the type of the account and the card.

State Bank of India is the first in the list of those banks who have recently halved the daily withdrawal limit of cash in the ATMs. Following it, state-run bank PNB or Punjab National Bank has set a cash withdrawal limit up to Rs. 50,000 per day on ATM transactions using a RuPay card. ICICI Bank, on the other hand, has set a cash withdrawal limit of Rs. 1,00,000 per day on ATM transactions using its platinum identity chip debit card.

Let’s have a detailed look at which bank is offering how much as it’s daily withdrawal limits and on what grounds:

State Bank of India (SBI)

If you are a State Bank of India customer then you can withdraw Rs. 20,000 on its classic debit card. However, this limit is set for the class debit cards only and the withdrawal limit on other SBI cards will remain the same. An SBI platinum card user can enjoy a withdrawal limit of Rs. 1,00,000 per day.

ICICI Bank

ICICI Bank customer using its platinum identity chip debit card can withdrawal a cash limit of Rs. 1,00,000 per day on ATM transactions. Visa signature debit card users can enjoy a limit of Rs. 1,50,000 per day.

HDFC Bank

Major private sector bank HDFC allows cash withdraws up to Rs. 1 lakh per day on its platinum chip debit card ATM withdrawal.

Axis Bank

RuPay platinum debit card users of Axis Bank allow cash withdrawals up to Rs. 40,000 per day on ATM transactions. On the other hand, visa titanium prime plus and secure plus debit cards users of the bank can withdraw up to Rs. 50,000 per day.

PNB

Platinum and RuPay debit cards users of Punjab National Bank gets a cash withdrawal up to Rs. 50,000 per day from ATM and for the classic RuPay and Master debit cards the cash withdrawal limit is Rs. 25,000 per day.
