New Delhi High Court Issues Notice on plea seeking change in Class 10 Marks Tabulation Policy

Delhi High Court has issued a notice to CBSE, the Centre, and the Delhi Government on a petition seeking a change in policy for the tabulation of marks for class 10th board exams 2021 based on the school's internal assessment.

Delhi: According to news agency ANI, the Delhi High Court has issued a notice to CBSE, the Centre, and the Delhi Government on a petition seeking a change in policy for the tabulation of marks for class 10th board exams 2021 based on the school's internal assessment.

A Division Bench of Chief Justice DN Patel and Justice Jyoti Singh directed the three to file a response to the organization's petition. The case has been rescheduled for a hearing on August 27.

The Centre cancelled the Class 10 Board Exams on April 14 due to an increase in COVID-19 cases across the country, and stated that the results would be prepared using an objective criterion developed by the CBSE.

The decision was made following a high-level meeting presided over by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The CBSE announced a policy for mark tabulation earlier this month.
