PATNA: In what can be described as a very bizarre development, the television screens installed at the Patna Railway station in Bihar continued to play an illicit video for around three minutes. The incident took place at around 9:30 AM on Sunday at the important railway station.

The incident of telecasting porn videos on the television screens at the railway platform left hundreds of passengers at the Patna Railway Station in a very uncomfortable position. Several passengers filed a complaint with both the Government Railway Police and the Railway Protection Force after the incident.

According to reports, the matter was initially reported to the Government Railway Police. The lack of any proper response from the Government Railway Police triggered the Railway Protection Force to take action. They contacted the agency named Dutta Communication, which is responsible for running the advertisements on the television screens in the railway station in the capital of Bihar. They asked the agency to take down the relay immediately as the porn clip was playing in front of the public including the women and children and causing discomfort.

Several passengers reportedly took videos of the incident with their smartphones, which were later shared over social media.

The officials of the railways department later filed a complaint against the agency, Dutta Communication. The agency was also blacklisted by the Railways department apart from imposing a penalty for causing such an untoward incident in a public place. Apart from the immediate termination of the contract with the agency, a departmental enquiry will also be conducted into the matter.

The Patna station is one of the biggest railway stations in the state of Bihar. It falls under the Danapur division of the East Central Railway Zone of the Indian Railways and thousands of passengers pass through this station every day.
