New Delhi: With LPG prices soaring high and now nearly touching the Rs 1000 mark in some of the places, here's your opportunity to save up to Rs 300 a cylinder.

Consumers who wish to take advantage of the offer can apply for an LPG cylinder subsidy and save up to Rs 300. Many families around the country will be relieved by this news.

Domestic LPG was once available for Rs 594 a cylinder, but prices have now risen to between Rs 834 and over Rs 1000. Consumers who've been taking advantage of the LPG cylinder subsidies should be the first to gain. They merely need to link their subsidized accounts to their Aadhar card to receive the advantages.

The state decided to improve the exemption offered in form of subsidies in response to public pressure that the price increases has placed on the general public. Consumers who have previously received subsidies will now receive higher savings per cylinder.

The discount on cylinder purchases had previously been lowered to Rs 20 to Rs 30 only, but it's now been boosted to roughly Rs 300.

All who purchase gas cylinders under the Ujjwala programme would profit the most from this subsidy programme. They previously received a subsidy of Rs 174.86, which has since been enhanced to Rs 312.48.

Many of those who previously received a subsidy of Rs 153.86 would now receive a rebate of up to Rs 291.48.
