PM, CMs and Several Cabinet Ministers to Attend Bhupendra Patel's Oath Taking

GANDHINAGAR: Confirming many speculations and disapproving a few others, the Bharatiya Janata Party won a landslide victory in the recently concluded Gujarat Legislative Assembly Elections. And after the formalities, Bhupendra Patel is all set to take the mantle of the Chief Minister of the state of Gujarat today.
The members of the party aim to make this oath-taking ceremony an event to remember ahead of the general elections. The largest democracy in the world goes to elections again after one and a half years from now, that is the middle of 2024. So the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Union Minister for Road Transport & Highways Nitin Gadkari are expected to take part in this celebration along with several other ministers and Members of Parliament.
The Chief Minister of the BJP-ruled states of the country will also be a part of the event. Yogi Adityanath from Uttar Pradesh, Himanta Biswa Sarma from Assam, Manohar Lal Khattar from Haryana, Shivraj Singh Chauhan from Madhya Pradesh, Basavaraj Bommai from Karnataka, Pushkar Singh Dhami from Uttarakhand and Eknath Shinde Maharashtra are expected to be present.
According to reports, representatives of women, scheduled castes and tribes and other backward classes will also be present at this event. Alongside this, a huge contingent of religious preachers is also expected to attend this event along with the political heavyweights.
This is the seventh time that the Bharatiya Janata Party has come to power in the state. Alongside Bhupendra Patel as the chief minister, several other positions are also expected to be filled today.
