PM Narendra Modi Attends Pravasi Bharatiya Divas In Madhya Pradesh
According to sources, over 3,500 diaspora members registered for the event.

BHOPAL : PM Narendra Modi on Monday, attended the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas convention. This is the 17th edition of the event and it is celebrated in Madhya Pradesh's Indore this time. The theme for 2023 is concluded as Diaspora, which means reliable partners for India's progress in Amrit Kaal.
Apart from the PM, several dignitaries attended the event including Chandrikapersad Santokhi, the president of the Republic of Suriname, president of Cooperative Republic of Guyana, Dr Md Irfaan Ali and the Chief minister of Madhya Pradesh, Shivraj Singh Chouhan.
According to sources, over 3,500 diaspora members registered for the event. These members came from 70 countries. Prime Minister Narendra Modi bestowed the event with his ever motivating words and directions.
He mentioned how much of a significant role Pravasi Bhartiya community holds in the nation's Amrit Kaal concept. He acknowledged the efforts and achievements of all dignitaries present in Pravasi Bhartiya, in their individual concerned field.
Modi expressed his happiness, as the event has been conducted in the heart city of India, Madhya Pradesh. While addressing the event, the PM urged everyone to taste varied delicacies of Indore. He mentioned about the chappan dukan and sarafa market which is known worldwide.
The PM recalls the time when India was engaged in global trade centuries ago. He emphasised on the fact that, India has demonstrated how business relation among different countries can facilitate in a shared development and prosperity.
He further made everyone present at the event aware of the matter that they a huge role in Make In India, cottage industries, handicrafts and Indian millets. It is their duty to showcase India as prosperous and culturally rich country to others.
The country is currently one of the highest growing economies of the world and the leader in electronics and military production worldwide, added the PM.
