PM To Host Grand Roadshow In Delhi, Police Issues Traffic Advisory

NEW DELHI : PM Narendra Modi on 16th of January, Monday,hosted a massive roadshow in the national capital , Delhi. The event has been organised by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in regards to the upcoming election of 2024. 

The roadshow will begin from the Patel Chowk of Delhi and move forward to the NDMC convention centre. The BJP will carry out its national executive meeting for two days at the NDMC Convention Centre.

The show is reportedly going to start off at 3pm and a vast gathering is expected during the event. As per sources, artists from various states are expected to perform in the roadshow. Delhi police have issued a traffic advisory in a view to avoid haphazardness during the event.

The statement mentioned about a mass participation on the Sansad Marg in Patel Chowk to Sansad Marg-Jai Singh Road from 3pm onwards on Monday.

Traffic arrangements are set in a way to assure smooth management of the traffic in the routes of the show. Few roads will be closed from 2:30pm to 5pm, as stated in the notification. 

Travellers moving towards New Delhi Railway station, Old Delhi Railway, Nizamuddin Railway Station, ISBT and Airport have been advised to to travel with ample amount of time in hand to manage any sort of delays on the mentioned routes.

The traffic advisory also suggested the public to opt for public vehicles and park vehicles in the allotted place only, in order to minimise traffic congestion.

During the two-day meeting of BJP, a discussion to extend the the tenure of JP Nadda, the BJPs national president might take place. PM Modi along with various Union Ministers and Chiefs of BJP will participate in the meeting. The conference will revolve around discussions and conclusions of the BJPs further course of action.
