NEW DELHI: Congress MP and writer Sashi Tharoor always amaze people with his invention of new words that attract the attention of many.

In his recent word invention, the politician shared word of day 'quockerwodger' which is newly added to his dictionary.

On Wednesday 20 April, Tharoor took to his official Twitter handle to inform about his new word 'quockerwodger' the definition of which is 'wooden puppet.'

The Congress MP from Thiruvananthapuram often manages to confuse the internet with the English vocabulary that he shares on social media.

According to the tweet by Tharoor, quockerwodger which is a type of wooden puppet was coined in 1860. He also shared an image along with the post that gives a brief political description of his newly created word.

In politics, a Quockerwodger was a politician acting on the instructions of an influential third party rather than properly representing their constitutions.

Tharoor is known as the encyclopedia of words for his creation of new words that mesmerize the netizens. Social media users love and adore the use of difficult syllables by Tharoor.

The words by the former international diplomat have been nicknamed by many as gems from the popular 'Tharoorosauras.'

In his recent tweet, Tharoor has again mystified the people on social media with the word quockerwodger which consists of a political connotation.

While introducing his new word to Twitter, the Congress leader wrote the caption as 'a useful addition to our political vocabulary.'

Soon after Tharoor updated his tweet, many started reacting with several speculations while several others started retweeting the post.

According to some users, Tharoor shared this new word along with its definition taking a dig at the current political situation in the country.

However many users on Twitter also expressed their happiness in coming across the new word and thanked the Congress MP by praising him.
