Rajasthan: Soldier Fires on Teacher for Scolding his Daughter

NEW DELHI: In Bharatpur, Rajasthan, an army soldier named Pappu Gurjar opened fire at a school after becoming enraged by a teacher who hit his daughter.

According to the reports, the soldier fired at the school's owner, Surendra. However, the school owner's wife, Rajbala, intervened to save her husband, from the bullet, in which the school owner's wife was injured.

After the bullet struck her hand straight, the woman was gravely hurt. She is currently receiving treatment at the Kaman Hospital, the report added.

The event occurred in Kanwara village in Rajasthan; the teacher hit the army soldier's daughter for not finishing her homework.

In the Kaman police station's Kanwara village, there is a Jai Bajrang Public School. A girl in class VII of the school received homework about 20 days ago, but she was unable to do it. As a result, a teacher slapped Ganga.

Ganga informed her father that he had been slapped by a teacher at school. Soldier Pappu Gurjar became enraged after learning of his daughter's mistreatment and arrived at the school with his licensed gun.

Daulat Singh, the Kaman Station House Officer (SHO), revealed that a charge had been filed against the accused soldier.

Last year in October, a Class 7 child at a private school in Rajasthan's Churu district was allegedly beaten to death by a teacher, according to authorities. The accused has been taken into custody.

Govind Singh Dotasra, the Minister of Education, expressed his sorrow at the event and directed officials to suspend the school's recognition.

Sandeep Vishnoi, the Salasar police station's Station House Officer, claimed Ganesh, a 13-year-old private school pupil, was severely lashed by his teacher for not completing homework.

According to Vishnoi, the student was rushed to a hospital in a state of unconsciousness, where physicians proclaimed him dead.
