Republic Day Celebration To Start From January 23 Including Netaji's Birth Anniversary

The central government announced Republic Day celebration will begin from 23 January from now on so that it includes the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose.

NEW DELHI: The celebration of Republic Day in India from the present year onwards will start from 23 January instead of the earlier date of 24 January.

The central government of India took the major decision with the aim of including the birth anniversary of Indian legend and freedom fighter Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose along with the massive celebration of Republic Day that falls every year on the 26th of January.

According to sources, this step is the line of focus for the Modi government to celebrate the significant aspects of Indian culture and history.

The BJP led Indian government earlier also made announcements that the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose will be observed across the county as Parakram Diwas.

Indian national, Subhas Chandra Bose who fought for the nation for freedom was born on 23 January 1897. Bose was later fondly called Netaji by people from around the country.

The grandnephew of Netaji named Chandra Kumar Bose while speaking with the media said that Indian people appreciate and honour the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government's determination and efforts under the prime leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi but what really matters in current India is that people must implement the inclusive ideology of Netaji.

He added that Netaji was the only national leader who untied the people as 'Bharaiyas' irrespective of what religion they belong to.

He further said that one must understand the ideology of Netaji and bring them in implementation if they really want to honour him. But at present, the divisive political ideologies by the leaders are gradually tearing the whole nation apart and the parade of Republic Day will be meaningless if the nation doesn't have Netaji's representation in it said Chandra Kumar.

He also stated that the people of India should have communal peace and harmony among than rather than communal violence and differences. According to him the divisive politics in the country must be stopped as it is again breaking India.
