NEW DELHI: Aspirants for Government Job received 71,000 employment letters from the prime minister on Friday. The Prime Minister spoke at the inaugural PM Rozgar Mela 2023 and engaged in conversation with more recruits who were hired under the central government employment programme.

To fill the 10 lakh employment openings in government departments, the PM Rozgar Mela was started in October 2022. The Staff Selection Commission, RRB, and other central recruitment organizations will be used to fill these job openings. Rozgar Mela has "become the identity of our good government," according to Prime Minister Modi, who spoke at the occasion via video conference. It is evidence of our dedication to keeping our word.

He also assured the new hires that they will play a significant role in the administration going forward and contribute to India's expansion and advancement. "For those who received an appointment letter today, life has begun anew. You will actively take part in the development of a developed India as a significant member of the government.

Additionally, according to PM Modi, several states, including Uttar Pradesh, Assam, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Uttarakhand, and others, will hold their own Rozgar Melas, which will help the programme as a whole develop.

In order to provide training for newly hired government employees, the government has launched the Karmayogi Prarambh iGOT module, which was also highlighted by PM Modi. The iGOT module also emphasises skill development heavily.
