Senior Journalist Pradip Chowdhury Dead

Kolkata: Veteran journalist and former News Editor of Press Trust of India (PTI) Pradip Chowdhury has passed away at a private hospital here following a cardiac arrest, family sources said. He was 64. Chowdhury, who died on Thursday, is a widower and is survived by two daughters. Known for his impeccable writing and editing skills and erudition, Chowdhury was, for years, considered a pillar of the agency’s eastern Indian desk here. (IANS)
