NEW DELHI: After a fire started early on Saturday morning in New Delhi's Connaught Place, smoke began to billow from the building. Six firefighters were dispatched right away to put out the hotel fire. As of yet, no injuries related to the incident have been reported.

Officials from the fire department stated that they are coordinating with the police to limit the movement of early shoppers in the neighbourhood. Earlier, a significant fire started in the Badarpur NTPC eco-park in Delhi. Five firefighters have been dispatched right once to put out the fire. The fire's precise cause has not yet been determined. So far, there have been no recorded casualties.
The Delhi Fire Service reportedly received the call regarding the fire around 5.40 p.m. Tweets about the fire's video have come from locals. One such video shows flame and smoke rising against an orange dusk sky, taken from a high-rise by a Twitter user.
In a separate incident, a fire started earlier this month at a structure close to the Mundka Metro station. Six firefighters were dispatched right away to put out the flames. The Delhi Fire Service reports that at about 4.45 pm, Mundka made a fire call.
