Sonu Sood Criticised By Northern Railways For Travelling In Train's FootBoard
The department tweeted regarding the incident on Wednesday.
NEW DELHI : Bollywood actor Sonu Sood who is loved by all for his kindness towards people was recently slammed by the Northern Railways. The actor has a huge fan base, which has developed not only because of his films, but his contribution in the society.
In a recent development the actor was travelling in a train where he was seen standing in the footboard. On 13th of December, Sonu Sood posted a train journey video, in which he was travelling in the footboard of the train.
On Wednesday, 4th of January, Northern Railways tweeted against the video and stated that, people of all age groups look upto him as their role model. His actions are being followed and imitated by many in India as well the world.
It is extremely dangerous to travel on the steps of a train and videos of this kind can demonstrate a wrong message in the mass. They further asked him to not repeat such activity and wished him safe journey.
Furthermore, the matter was also talked about by the Mumbai Railway Police Commissionerate, who warned him to not attempt stunts in real life. It can cause bodily harm along with sending wrong message to his fans worldwide. Travelling in the footboard could be only entertained when it is confined to movies , but not in reality.
Everyone should follow the safety protocols while travelling. The GRP Mumbai stated these in their recent tweet. Sonu Sood is well known for his connection with the audience. In his recent tweet he urged everyone to suggest him a villain for his new film Fateh.
He also declared a reward in return for the same. The tweet was flooded with comments and the followers suggested their favourites for the role. The tweet received as many as 2.3 million views in just 24 hours. As the Covid-19 is knocking the door, the actor states that 'my number remains the same'.
He asserted that, if needed he will extend his help and support during the crisis period. It is a fact that Sonu Sood has emerged as the national hero since the beginning of the pandemic. The actor had provided food, shelter to migrants, providing oxygen cylinders and the list goes on.
