Sushma Swaraj: Adieu to the fierce leader, the politician, the person, the great orator

The nation loses a great leader on Tuesday night as Sushma Swaraj, the first female leader of BJP, the first female Chief Minister of Delhi, the youngest cabinet minister breathed her last. The former Foreign Affairs Minister of India in the first term of Modi government was admitted at the AIIMS, New Delhi due to a sudden cardiac arrest but could not survive for the intensity of the stroke.

The late leader, just before three hours of her death (at 7:23 pm), had made her last tweet addressing Narendra Modi and congratulating him for the bifurcation of J&K. She had even mentioned it in her tweet that she had been waiting for this day in her lifetime which once again strikes her admirers that she had truly been waiting for this day only and departed once her purpose was fulfilled. A regular twitter user, Sushma Swaraj was well-known as a witty politician who had an immediate response for the users. She was even known for providing official solutions and measures for people who needed her help and had asked her for her favour on Twitter. The great female politician of the recent times, Sushma was a leading and most admired politician of the Bharatiya Janata Party. Right from the late Atal Bihari Vajpayee, LK Advani, to Narendra Modi, Arun Jaitley, Amit Shah and Rajnath Singh, all senior leaders of the party were well-dependent on the departed leader. Her sudden demise has thus, left a never fulfilling void in the party and in the national politics.

The Wednesday morning showed an unending number of admirers of the late politician visiting her home to offer a last tribute. President Ram Nath Kovind, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other leaders of the nation along with the opposition leaders Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi paid their last homage to the leader.
