"Threat to my life": Rhea Chakraborty seeks protection from Mumbai Police

Guwahati: With several allegations and claims made against Rhea Chakraborty in connection to Sushant Singh Rajput's demise case, the actress has taken to social media to share a glimpse of the crowd gathered inside her building compound.

Rhea Chakraborty has even asked the Mumbai Police to provide her family with protection as she feels there is a threat to her own as well as her family's lives.

Taking to Instagram, Rhea shared a video of her father Indrajit Chakraborty who was seen by hounded by a huge crowd of people surrounding him outside her building

Rhea shared the video along with the caption, "This is inside my building compound, The man in this video is my father Indrajit chakraborty ( retd . army officer ) We have been trying to get out of our house to cooperate with ED , CBI and various investigation authorities to cooperate. There is a threat to my life and my family's life. We have informed the local police station and even gone there, no help provided."

Using the hashtag #SafetyForMyFamily, Rhea stated basic law and order restrictions should be provided, especially amid the coronavirus pandemic.

It is to be noted that Rhea's brother Showik Chakraborty was snapped at the CBI guesthouse earlier in the day where he has been called for questioning for the second time. On the other hand, her father has been summoned by the Enforcement Directorate for another round of interrogation in connection to the money laundering angle.

Meanwhile, talking about the drug allegations against Rhea, Sushant's father recently said, "Rhea Chakraborty was giving poison to my son, Sushant from a long time, she is his murderer. The investigating agency must arrest her and her associates."
