UPSC releases official notification for Civil Services (Prelim) Exams, 2020: Check & Apply

GUWAHATI: On Wednesday, February 12 the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) released the official notification for the civil services preliminary examination 2020.

The application process has begun and March 3 is the last date to apply for the UPSC Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination 2020. The Civil Services (preliminary) Examination 2020 is scheduled for Sunday, May 31.

Candidates will be able to do their registration for the examination by visiting the UPSC application website.

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Civil Services - Preliminary examination is the first step of the exam that candidates need to clear to qualify for the main examination. It is an objective type test comprising two papers. However, the marks secured in the preliminary examination are not added for calculating the final merit list.

Meanwhile, the notification for India Statistical Service Examination (ISS) 2020 and the Indian Engineering Services (IES) Examination 2020 is expected to be released on March 25. And the application process will continue until April 13.
