The viral video of AAP minister taking massage inside the prison led to a fiery controversy between BJP and AAP
NEW DELHI: A fierce controversy has been raised between BJP and AAP as a video went viral of jailed Delhi Minister, Satyendar Jain taking massage from a man inside the cell. The Aam Aadmi Party explained the video by saying that, 'that is physiotherapy and not massage'.
According to sources of Tihar Jail, the man giving massage to Satyendar Jain is a criminal accused of rape charges. Officials from Tihar jail stated that, the masseur is a prisoner in a rape case. The man is charged under several IPC section with FIR no. 121/2021. The case was registered at JP Kalan police station.
Gopal Rai, Delhi minister and AAP leader responded against the allegation and stated that, Amit Shah was given special treatment when he went to the Gujrat jail and this fact is present in the CBI records as well. Such hospitality was only provided to him during police custody. Gopal Rai continued by saying that, the treatment received by Satyendar Jain is not the main issue, the main cause of this allegation and controversy is the fact that Delhi have decided to make the Aam Aadmi Party win in the MCD polls over BJP.
The fact that BJP is losing the election on December 4th 2022, is the prime cause of this matter. Bharatiya Janata Party slammed the AAP after the video went viral of Jain getting a full body massage. He was also seen having conversation with four men inside the cell. BJP demanded to remove Satyendar Jain from the ministry as they are of the view that he is carrying out corruption activities from inside the prison as well.
Sambit Patra in a press conference called the AAP as 'spa and massage party'. The BJP attacked the party for proving special treatment to a corrupted minister who is arrested due to allegation of money laundering. However, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia accused the BJP government for using cheap strategies to demean the AAP and attract voter for the election.
