1 hurt in road mishap

Shillong, Nov 21: Helper of a truck was seriously injured when the truck he was in turned turtle Lumshnong in East Jaintia Hills on Monday night. The truck from Assam was en route to Mizoram when the mishap occurred around 11.15 pm. The helper has been identified as Subrata Hajong from Assam. Driver of the truck, however, sustained no injury. The injured was immediately rushed to Lumshnong PHC, which later referred him to Shillong Civil Hospital for better treatment.
