10 teams to play in veteran cricket

GUWAHATI, March 14: Altogether 10 teams will take part in the 7th Veteran Invitatiol Inter District and Institutiol cricket tourment which will be held in memory of Madhurjya Prasad Barooah and Md Mukhtar Hussain. sir Gul Khan, the General Secretary of the Veteran Cricket Association of Assam, informed the media that host city Guwahati along with nine other teams- Jorhat, Dibrugarh, Sivasagar, North East Frontier Railway, Silchar, Tezpur, Bajali, Gauhati High Court and Media XI accepted the invitation to participate in the competition. The meet will begin at the Nehru stadium on March 22 and fil will be held on March 28.
