100 food poisoning victims undergoing treatment

Jorhat, October 24: Hundred victims of food poisoning are still under treatment in Jorhat Medical College and Hospital (JMCH). The remaining 100 victims were released from the hospital. However, all the patients undergoing treatment at JMCH are out of danger, said JMCH sources. Two hundred people were taken ill after consuming prasad in Majuli and were shifted to JMCH on Friday in a critical condition.
