1,000 dancers to perform in Bihu programme

gaon, April 9: Ramdhenu Sanskritic Gosthi will organize a day-long Bihu celebration in gaon on April 18. The Bihu celebration will be held at Neherubali on the bank of the Kolong river with various programmes.

The programme will start with the hoisting of the flags at 10 am. In the evening there will be Bihu dance performance where more than 1,000 dancers will take part. At 6 pm there will be various cultural programmes on the permanent stage of Neherubali. Sa Re Ga Ma Little Champs contestant Abhigyan will also perform on the occasion. The evergreen Assamese artistes Anima Chaudhuri, Lokth Goswami and Anjali Kataki will be the guest artistes of the function.
