107 leaders and workers return to BPF fold

KOKRAJHAR, November 11: In a significant development for BPF, altogether 107 leaders and workers of different political parties, including former BTC EM Bishiram rzary and former BPF (Women Wing) president Maloti Rani rzary who had joined the BJP and later the Congress, returned to the fold of the BPF on Friday at the workers’ meeting of the BPF in Kokrajhar. The president of BPF, Hagrama Mohilary welcomed them and felicitated with aroi.

 Addressing the meeting, former president of the BPPF and now BPF MLA Rabiram rzary welcomed the leaders and workers and said that everyone had the responsibility to work hard for making the dream of model BTC a reality.

“Today I feel happy that many leaders and workers have come back to one fold for the greater interest of the people of the region and its development and I believe that many more leaders will come to make BPF the strongest regiol political platform,” he said adding that there had been differences of strategy and ideology for which leaders were divided but now it was important that everyone should come forward with collective responsibility for a vibrant BTC.
