10th biennial convention

Bongaigaon, April 8: The 10th bi-annual convention of All Assam Koch- Rajbongshi Yuba-Chatra Sanmiloni will start from May 8. Traloikya Ray, president of reception committee, said that a two-day long programme would be held in Borpara public field in Bongaigaon. “An important discussion will be held regarding the demand for ST categorization of Koch- Rajbongshi people. Other important issues will also be discussed. A trilingual souvenir in Assamese, Rajbongshi and English will also be released on the occasion,” said Ray. A reception committee has been formed where Traloikya Ray as president and Hiteswar Barman as secretary.
