12 hand gredes recovered, one arrested

Tamulpur, April 18: Baksa Police and Indian Army conducted an operation in Hortola village under Darrangamela police station in the district of Baksa on Monday night.

Following secret information, Superintendent of Police Biy Kalita directed Darrangamela Police to launch an operation. yan Das, in-charge of Darrangamela Police outpost, and 15 Mahar Regiment of Indian Army launched the operation in Hortola village and bbed Sangsar Boro, resident of village Hortola under Tamulpur Police Station.

On the basis of the statement of Sangsar Boro, police and Army recovered 12 hand gredes which were hidden inside a toilet in his house premises. A case has been registered against Sangsar Boro at Tamulpur Police Station and interrogation is going on for more information.
