12 people rescued from human traffickers

Rangia, September 4: Rangia Railway Protection Force personnel headed by Jayanta Das, officer-in-charge, rescued 12 persons, including young girls, from the dragnet of a human trafficking racket, acting on a tip-off when the victims were being ferried through Dn Kamakhya-Dekargaon Intercity Exp. According to the OC RPF, two human traffickers - Shanti Munda Boro and Gudhar th - were about to take the minor boys and girls, including some youths, to Mumbai. Police rescued them and detained the alleged traffickers for further interrogation. Investigation is on.
