In this regard, lighting the lamp before the bronze statue of Bhaxa Oza Hemchandra Baruah was done by noted journalist Apurba Kr. Barooah and floral tribute was paid by Sonaram Bharali, president of GDJA, and noted Assamese film director Dinesh Gogoi. The programme was conducted by secretary of GDJA, Rohit Gogoi. The contribution of Hem Chandra Baruah was remembered.
