13 cops presented gallantry medals

SHILLONG, Dec 11: Thirteen police personnel were presented with gallantry medals for their role in fighting militancy in Khasi and Garo Hills. An investiture ceremony was held at the Meghalaya Police Headquarters on Friday and the medals were presented by the DGP Rajiv Mehta. The recipients were Davis N Marak, SP, East Garo Hills, Claudia Lyngwa, SSP, CID, Ringrang TG Momin, Addl SP, Inspector Issac S Marak, Sub Inspector Kamal Thapa, Sub Inspector Deep Khatri, Sun Inspector Sengsram Ch Marak, Havildar B Gurung, Sanjeev Sharma, Cronen Marak and constables Rajendra Kahit, Riewsngewthuh Umlong and Hubirth S Marak.
