13 gamblers bbed

GAON (HAIBORGAON) April 27: gaon Police, led by ASP (HQ) Sanjib Saikia, on Wednesday night apprehended 13 gamblers from a hotel situated at Haiborgaon Khutikatia Chariali and also seized cash Rs 52,000, 13 mobile handsets and a LED set from their possession. According to sources, they have been identified as Aravinda Ajit Charia, Sayad Ahmed alias Dipu, Atal Islam, Unush Ali, Billal Uddin, Islam Uddin, Ainul Haque, Abdul Rafik, Abdur Rahman, Imran Hussain, Abdul Rahim, Moinul Haque and Mirajjul Islam. The sources added that the gang of gamblers took a room in the hotel for gambling and the police on the basis of information, launched a massive search operation in the hotel and was able to b the gamblers red-handed.
