13 schools closed down in Demow

DEMOW, April 2: The Government of Assam had ordered to close down 13 schools in Sivasagar District at Demow under Primary Education Department of Demow. The Deputy Commissioner of Sivasagar had sent a memo(E/S I D E S T/RASON/2014/119/2015) through which he has ordered to close down 13 primary schools in  Demow as there were less than 10 students in these schools. The schools are Alun gar Primary, Mazorting, 532 No Garhbhonga, 2 No bajyoti, Jagran, 909 No Hiloibam, Bhoisob Sangha, Bakpara, Jamira Sonowal, Hatikhuti Bahuabari, Krishbihari, Dupani bajyoti and Kushal Konwar Primary School.
