130th birth anniversary of Sree Sree Thakur Anukul Chandra

Silchar, Feb 7: The 130th birth anniversary of Sree Sree Thakur Anukul Chandra and 40th anniversary of establishment of Sree Bigroho will be observed with full devotion and solemnity at the premises of Silchar Satsang Vihar, Ashram road. The 2 day programme will start from February 10. It will be followed by Matri Sanmelan, Prartha, Pram, amjop, reading of Holy Scriptures and cultural event. A procession with tableaus will be taken out. Prasad will also be distributed among all. This information was shared at a press-meet held at the Ashram premises on Wednesday.

 Around 250 workers and helpers will be deployed for arranging the huge number of devotees. The cultural events will be graced by the presence of Kolkata based Zee Bangla singing sensation Pankaj tta, J Biswas and Pintu Das Baul from Tripura. Local artistes will also take part in the cultural events. Among others present at the press-meet included members of the cultural wing of the celebration committee, of the Ashram, Sudarshan th, Anupam Dey and Sandeep Das, Shankar Moitra, working secretary Anup Biswas and in-charge, secretary, of the Ashram, Champak Dutta. There are 16 centres cum temples of Sree Sree Thakur in Cachar.
