14-Member Assam Team In National Chess Championship

GUWAHATI: 14 members Assam Team will participate in the 33rd National Under-7 Chess Championship-2019 which will be held in Kolkata from tomorrow. In the boys section Assam Champion Krishnav Mrinmoy Hazarika of Guwahati along with Maharsihi Prasad Kashyap of Sonitpur will lead the challenge for Assam. Emil Borgohain (Guwahati) Anish Sharma (Guwahati) Rajat Bafna (Guwahati) Farhan Faisal Ahmed (Jorhat) Devanuj Gogoi (Guwahati), Yohann Jain (Guwahati) Harshadeep Deka (Guwahati) will participate as special entry. In Girls Category Assam Champion Atreyee Talukdar of Guwahati and runners-up Suzein Ahmed of Darrang will lead the challenge for Assam . Tamanna Sarma (Guwahati),Yati Agarwal (Guwahati) and Sonakshi Basnet(Guwahati) will participate as special entry. Ashrafuddin Ahmed of Darrang will accompany the team as Manager.
