154th death anniversary of Kiang ngbah

SHILLONG, Dec 29: In commemoration of 154th death anniversary of Kiang ngbah, a legendary freedom fighter of the Jaintia community the Sein Raij imtre Shillong, on Thursday organised a free medical camp in the city at Paltan Bazar. Hundreds of people from across the pine city of Shillong were seen thronging the medical camp to get checked and examined by the doctors present at the camp. The doctors participating in the camp ranges from dental to eye doctors beside other specialist. The people attending the medical camp not only received free medical check up however they also received free medicine. The death anniversary of the legendary freedom fighter of the Jaintia community is slated for tomorrow.
