15th convocation of DU

Dibrugarh, December 28: The 15th convocation of Dibrugarh University (DU) is slated to be held on January 2 next year at DU.

The Chancellor of DU, Governor of Assam, Padmabha Balakrish Acharya will deliver degrees to all the qualifying graduates of 2013-2015 during the convocation. Chancellor of Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri Rastriya Sanskrit Vidyapith, New Delhi, and former judge of Supreme Court of India, Justice Dr. Mukundakam Shastri will grace the convocation as chief guest.

Prof gen Saikia, former president of Axam Xahitya Xabha, and Prof Achyuta nda Samanta of Odisha will be conferred with D.Litt, honoris causes, on the occasion.

The Vice-Chancellor of DU, Prof. Alak Buragohain will deliver the welcome address.
