17-year-old girl rescued

SHILLONG, March 17: The tiol Domestic Worker Movement (NDWM) Meghalaya region on Thursday based rescued a 17-year-old girl from Lower Lachumiere, Temple road, who had allegedly been beaten up by her employer. The victim girl said, “For the past four years I have been working here and I don’t usually get food to eat during dinner time. They only  give me breakfast”  She alleged that breakfast was not being served to her until and unless her work is complete. She further alleged that the employer had beaten her up several times. She further said that no fix salary was being given to her.
