18-month old child drowns

Golaghat, August 9: A girl child aged 18 months died due to drowning at Kaborugaon in Golaghat. According to sources, the 18-month old girl child of Hafizur Rahman and Salema Begum of Kaborugaon went to the pond in the backyard unnoticed. She fell into the pond and drowned. Later she was taken to KK Civil Hospital in a critical condition but she was declared brought dead.
