18th biennial conference of AJYCP kicks off

JORHAT, June 9: The 18th biennial conference of Asom Jatiyatabadi Yuva Chatra Parishad (AJYCP) Jorhat Unit was kicked off with a colourful procession which was flagged off at the Radha Kanta Handique Bhawan by Jorhat  SP Prasanta Bhuyan in Jorhat on Friday.

The colourful procession which composed of all ethnic tribes highlighting traditiol culture of Assam was taken out where artistes  from various organization took part in the iugural day procession.

Later in the evening a total of 16 HSLC and 10 HS meritorious students along with four students having contribution in the field of sports and others were felicitated in the open session meet held at Radha Kanta Handique Bhawan auditorium, said Ritu Pathak, the general secretary of the parishad here today.
