19 Dead and 40 Injured in Bus Collision in Pakistan

In an unfortunate incident of bus accident that took place in Pakistan on Sunday night, two passenger buses collided head-on with 19 passengers being killed and 40 others critically injured. The accident took place in Pakistan’s Punjab province, near Ghazi Ghaat area.

Sadly, of the 19 people killed in the accident, 13 belongs to the same extended family of Multan. The critically injured passengers were immediately shifted to various hospitals by the rescue teams.

Although the immediate cause of the accident was not known, such incidents of road mishaps are not new in Pakistan. For such fatal road accidents, the reckless driving and bad roads are to be blamed the most.

Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan expresses deep grief on this sudden loss of lives and conveys heartfelt condolence to the families of the deceased. Khan directs the police and administration to ensure best medical assistance to the injured passengers.

Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar also condoled over the tragic incident.
