2-day sit in demonstration by trainee teachers

SHILLONG, Jan 15: The Diploma in Elementary Education batch 2013 has decided to stage a two-day sit in demonstration in front of the NIOS Shillong office located at Laitumkhrah staring from January 24 to 25 from 11.30 AM to 2 PM.

Around 4,385 trainee teachers, which include SSA, government, Ad hoc and Deficit teachers teaching at elementary level, took a decision based on the silent attitude of NIOS to release fresh results.

Aristotle C Rymbai, President of Meghalaya SSA School Association (MSSASA), Central Body, while speaking to reporters, informed that the decision was taken during the CEC meeting of MSSASA, which was held on January 12 this year.
