SHILLONG, Aug 28: Police claimed to have detained two persons from Polo area of the city around 5.30 pm on Saturday on suspicion of selling drugs. The police have been on the alert after reports of increasing drug use in the area, and after receiving proper intelligence input they were successful in arresting the two alleged drug peddlers. The police also claimed to have seized 1.76 grams of drugs from the duo.
