2 hurt in road mishap

Shillong, July 20: Two persons sustained injuries after a Maruti Celerio car collided head on with an oil tanker truck at Mawrisham, 5 km away from Mawryngkneng in East Khasi Hills, on Thursday. The incident occurred around 7 am after an oil tanker truck headings towards Jowai hit the Maruti Celerio coming from Jowai towards Shillong. Two occupants of the car – Labait Tyngaw (50) and Dafahi Tariang (18) – sustained injuries and were shifted to Mawryngkneng PHC by Mawryngkneng-based 108 ambulance.
