2 more upsets in Jorhat Open

GUWAHATI, Dec 25:  The fifth day of 24th Jorhat Open Tennis Tourment witnessed two upsets today. In the first upset, unseeded Eva Raj Shah of Guwahati beat 2nd seeded Bresh Khan also of Guwahati while Harshita Bora of Guwahati made the second one beating 3rd Seeded Snikdha S Baruah of Dibrugarh. Both the winners moved into the semi fil of the girls U-14 event championship. Top seeded Debanga Borkotoky of Jorhat and third seeded Baishali Bora of NRL also reached the semi fils in this category.In the boys U-12 singles category, Debanga Hazarika of Golaghat, Aditya P. Bhagawati of Guwahati, Shahir Farhaz of Jorhat and Raktim Gogoi of Sivasagar earned a berth in the semi fils. On the other hand Rishav Brahma of Jorhat, Swagat Kr. Baruah of Jorhat, Arb P. Das of Golaghat and Jishnu Baruah of Guwahati reached the semi fils in boys U-14 category .
