20 all-women polling stations in Tezpur

Tezpur, April 3: For the first time in the history of Assam election, a total of 20 polling stations here in Tezpur are going to be run by women polling officials. Retuning Officer Laya Madduri said that the polling stations coming under the 74-No- Tezpur LAC of Tezpur election district are Tezpu Academy (2), Tezpur ITI (4), Tezpur Collegiate (2), Agnigarh Vidyapith (4), Silver Jubilee School (4) and Chanmari LP School (4). The polling parties who have already rushed to their polling stations with polling materials comprise women-  from presiding officers to the security guard.
