21st conference of APSA held

Dhemaji, September 27: The 21st conference of the Assam Pharmacists Service Association (APSA) was held in Dhemaji recently. A semir on the topic ‘Pharmacy profession today and tomorrow’ was held and it was presided over by Dr. bin Chandra Baruah, Assistant Professor of Assam Pharmacy Institution, Dibrugarh and a cordial face-to-face discussion with Bhargavjyoti Saharia, Assistant Professor, Down Town University was also held. A procession was iugurated by Dr Abdul Latif, Joint  Director, Health Service, Dhemaji. The open session was presided over by Sahajahan Ali Ahmed, president of APSA. Dr. Biplab Kumar Dey, Principal of Down Town Hospital and an appointed speaker of the session, highlighted the duties of the pharmacists and he appealed to all pharmacists not to lend their valuable license as mortgage to anybody as that would be against the ethics of pharmacists.
