229 people wounded as agitation continues

IMPHAL, AUG 10: At least 229 people sustained injuries during the ongoing agitations demanding the implementation of the inner line permit system in the state. Many of them are undergoing treatment in hospitals. Meanwhile, the activists have come up with a medical helpline for the injured persons. A statement said that members of public had generously doted cash to this helpline for meeting the medical expenses.
