229 police constables to be recruited in Golaghat

Golaghat, July 21: The Government of Assam had recently conducted examition for recruitment of police constables. The exam was held in all the district headquarters of the State. In  Golaghat district the exam was held for filling up of 232 posts lying vacant in the police department. Additiol Superintendent of Police, Golaghat Numal Mahatto told media persons that for total 232 posts, 8,258 candidates appeared in interview out of which 1,459 cleared physical test. Then for the written exam 1,220 candidates got selected. At last the results were announced in which 229 candidates filly passed and will be recruited very soon.
